My birthday wasawesome. First up was my birthday lunch at the oh-so-good bistro, "The Taste Of India." My classmates and close buddies came, pigged out and had fun ( I hope.) It was crazy... Ah, but what else can you expect from over twenty tennagers packed into a room?
Next up was dinner with my cell group leaders and David. We went to the restraunt "Big O." The food was great. And the dessert was lovely. We went to watch "Death Note 2" afterwards. It was pretty interesting and at the most climatic moments, David would interject dramatically. Very entertaining. It has been ages since I've watched a movie with someone who was very into the film. Haha. My birhday was fabulous. Great food, great company and fantastic memories. What more could a girl ask for?
New year's eve was spent at church. There was the usual service followed by a congregation meeting. After that was the "Breakout" party which was the countdown party atour church. The theme was retro and boy, did everyone look good. The photos from my birthday and the party will be up soon. Watch this space. :)
New year's lunch was great. I spent it with Becca! It was so lovely to catch up with her. Hearing about what your friends have been up to and hearing about their growth are times that I really treasure. Here's a picture of us. No prizes for guessing who was in a skirt and who was in jeans. Haha.

Wow, Christmas came and Christmas went. It was lovely. Church service on Sunday was good and so was the Christmas lunch with my cell mates. We feasted on Ramly burgers. Haha. It was so nice to see everyone filled with Christmas cheer and decked out in their holiday finery. Christmas is really my favourite time of year. I went out with my mum in the earlier part of the day yesterday, and then out with Julian and Jian Hao for dinner. We walked around Orchard, admiring the lights and the festivities. It was really beautiful. Extremely crowded, but beautiful. Merry Chrismas everybody.

Last Sunday was my vocal teacher's annual student barbeque. Contrary to popular belief, she does not skewer and barbeque her students on a yearly basis. We eat food that either moo, oink or make birdly noises. Oh yes, there's also a free flow of wine and beer. It was fun, as usual, with people getting high and great people to carry conversations with. Here are some pictures to mark the event.
Great food, and great company. Check out the picture with all of them matching shots. It lead to great entertainment later on that night. Haha, oh the wonders of alcohol.
Nina, my teacher's friend, showed us a move that apparently proved you were not drunk if you could do it. It's called the "Four." Basically, you stand on one foot while bending your knee on your other leg and placing your foot on your supporting leg so that your legs look like the number four. Here are the attempts of Mr Chan, followed by David, Jonathan and Ms Ae Ree. Needless to say, hers was the most graceful.
And here are more pictures.
Monday was great as well. I went to Vivo City with my friend, Shi and we ate and walked around. The place is pretty cool. Really big with interesting shops. The Brazilian restraunt called Carnivore was amazing. This one guy kept coming to me with beef because I told him it was really good and he kept inisisting that I had more beef. Haha.. He was very funny. Have I mentioned thatI love Brazilian accents? It's so passionate, as though everything that's said has extreme importance. Haha. "Have some beef. You must, you must. It's really good." Haha. Here are some pictures. The food is drool worthy, yes? And the ice cream at the Swensen's at Vivo is much nicer than the other branches I've eaten at. And it looks better too.
On Tuesday, I went to watch Vocauptuous in concert. The show was really good and as Ms Su put it, it was a perfect Jazz sound. Under the musical direction of my dear friend, John Lee, it was an amazing performance. Entertaining and orally satisfying. It was a nice surprise to see an old friend perform with them as a special guest. It was Eunice Olsen. She looked as radiant as ever. And John broke a lot of hearts that night. He's such a charmer. :)
By the way, if you want to have a better look at the photos, double click them, and surprise! A larger image pops out. :)

It's been a busy two weeks for me.I performed in Child Aid and two HSBC performances two weeks ago, and I sat for my SATs. This week I was involved in "All That Jazz." Now that all this is over, I have my common tests to look forward to next week. Oh goody. Haha.
Wow, the last two weeks have been amazing. Very busy, but amazing. I met so many people, made many new friends and took back with me wonderful memories. I feel truly blessed. I'm so thankful that God's been with me and sustained me through the long days of school, classes, rehearsals and performances this last two weeks. I don't have many pictures to show you but here are of some of the few pictures I have from Child Aid.

18) Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19)Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.
20)When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.
21)Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. 22)If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
Matt21:18-22
Doesn't that make you feel secure? Walk by faith and not by sight. Ask in faith and you shall recieve. Our God is a living God. Turn to Him and He will answer.
I've been really busy but I will update again soon with pictures of what I've been up to. Have a blessed week everyone. :)
