Friday, June 30, 2006I just got back from a drink date with the Tenors (Jonathan, David, Joseph and Sridhar), Yan, Ms Ae Ree and Mr Chan. We all went for a drink, and in the boys's case, dinner and drinks after "Die Schöne Müllerin." I had dinner with Mir before that and we rushed down to YMS to help with the ticketing and programme distribution. The concert was good and I must say I enjoyed myself.The guys worked hard on it, and it showed... Yan was amazing too, as usual.The pieces were portrayed well and it was an interesting show. :) Great work guys! ;)
I'm super tired so I'll blog more when my eyes are more open. Night!

Thursday, June 22, 2006 Yesterday was a blast! I met up with Joan and Kiren for "Scary Movie 4." The movie was hilarious! I loved it! I laughed until I started crying...Twice! Go catch it! Haha!
We went for dinner at Makansutra Glutton's Bay, by the side of the Esplanade, for dinner, after that. I was people watching, when all of a sudden, I spotted Marium. Needless to say, many shrieks and hugs followed... Haha... She was there with Tim and Victoria... :)
I went to DXO after that... That was fun... Some of the bands were really good... I was talking to this guitarist, Koyuki, of this Japenese Metal band, and he asked for my number! I found it hilarious, because, he and his band were the typical Japenese Metal band... Complete with leather, sky high hair and painted faces... Haha... Apparently, they're quite a well known group... Haha... I think they're called "Ray" or something like that....
Oh yes, the night ended off spectacularly with Portugal beating Mexico, 2-0. Lovely night. :)

Tuesday, June 20, 2006Wow, today was really nice. The recording for the SYF Mass Display went really well. Mr Iskandar Ismail was really pleased with how it turned out... He's the best! He's so supportive and encouraging... He's amazing to work with and is such a wonderful man... He's really one of a kind... :) The piece he composed for the Mass Display was really cool. He incorporated contrasting rhythms, instruments and moods in the piece. That and of course, the element of a Classically trained voice... The piece was in a high register and went up to a "C". Thankfully, it turned out well. :) I can't wait to hear the finished product. :)
I went for a movie with my mum after the recording. We watched "She's the Man." It's cute but a little slapstick. I can't wait to watch "Scary Movie 4" tomorrow. :)
My mum and I met up with our new neighbours after that and we went for dinner at "Modesto's." The food was lovely! The Germany versus Ecquador match was playing during dinner... I was, therefore, very distracted from the table conversation.. Hee hee... It was really funny to see the enrite restraunt going nuts every timeGermany scored! :) I knew that the game would end 3-0!Haha! Germany rocks!
Today just felt really awesome... :) Right, I'm off to bed now... Take care my dears... Ich liebe dich!

Saturday, June 17, 2006The last few days have been pretty fun.. I met up with with a few people, finally got my foot reflexology and a back massage done from this wonderfully painful Indonesian woman, and slept over at Becca's last night... It was so fun! We pigged out on cookies, chocolate and ice cream! All of which were chocolate flavoured, of course...Haha! Thanks for a great time Becca! Love ya loads! *Hugs* We watched "Pride and Prejudice" and "Finding Neverland." Johnny Depp was in the latter . *Swoooooooon* Haha... I picked out that movice not just because Depp was in it but also because I heard it was really good. It was. You all have to watch it. It's a really sweet movie. :)

Monday, June 12, 2006I finally completed my last test today! So, as of now, I am offically on holiday! :)I went shopping with Joan and Vic just now.. It was fun... I bought loads of stuff... *Grinz*
Oh, I also watched "The Omen" with Joan. That movie is disturbing. Go watch it if you have the time and are willing to spend $7 to be disturbed.
I would really like to blog more but my eyelids are refusing to stay open. So, I'll blog again soon. Good night people, or rather, Good morning.

Friday, June 02, 2006Today I met up with a few of my friends, Vic, Nat, Nic and Mei Poh... It was fun... Full of jabber and life... Meeting up with them, made me miss the good old days of secondary School life... Don't get me wrong, I love my life at Ngee Ann... It's just that I miss the days of polka dots, complaining about the polka dots, Mrs Lee, teachers and of course, the Veggie Gang... I shall not lapse into an entry of yearning to be back in secondary school, though... I will instead, let you have a glimpse of Vic, Nat and I at "The Island Creamery" and what we got up to there... Haha... :)
