Yesterday was the day for soundchecks at the UCC for Child Aid. It was really fun bonding with the other performers. My friends and I went out for dinner after the soundchecks. Here are some pictures from yesterday. :)

Being serenaded by Dominic. Aren't I blessed? Haha.

Manuel, my crowned pillow and I.

Above: Our pathetic attempts at trying to take a group photo. Haha.

See you tomorrow. :)

And Thank You God.

I went to watch "Just Friends" with Nikki after school today. The movie was sweet and Christmassy. A typical romantic holiday comedy. Predictable, but good. :) After the film, Nikki and I took a shuttle bus down to Marina Square. The bus made me feel so happy like it was Christmas already! It was dimly lit with warm orange lighting and holiday tunes were playing in the background. The bus treated us to a spectacular display of the bright Christmas decorations and bright lights that now line Orchard road. :) Lovely, simply lovely. As soon as Nikki and I reached Marina Square, we went to Candy Empire! Haha! That place is every kid's wildest fantasy come true. I bought some stuff amongst which was a Cookie Dough flavoured Kit Kat Chunky. It wasn't that good though. :P Nikki and I went to get Deep Fried Mars Bars after that. It was calihorifically wonderful. :) Here are some of the pictures that were taken today.

The view of the Christmas lights and decorations from the bus.

Chippy's!

The Mars Bars. Wipe away your drool, people. Hehe.

Nikki enjoying her curry puff.

Us.

As you can see, our love is eminent in this picture. Haha.

Very pretty decorations hanging from the ceiling in Marina Square. :)

I just got back home from St Margaret's Day. It was the school's 164th anniversary. The celebration was held at the primary school and among the performers were me, Daphne, a flutist and two girls from the secondary school who sang a duet. They were adorable. Haha. It was wonderful going back to the primary school and seeing so many familiar faces, from old girls, to past principals and of course the beloved teachers from both the primary and secondary schools. I stepped into the hall of my primary school and felt at home once again. I honestly feel truly blessed to have growm up in St Margaret's, with such loving teachers and friends, and of course being around people with immense faith in God. Our school was founded as a mission school and we do whatever we do to glorify God. St Margaret's has taught me a lot and I cherish every moment I spent there. When the school song and hymn was sung, I sang with pride together with the rest of the St Margaret's family. St Margaret's truly is a special school. With God's blessing, we have come far, and we are extremely thankful. "To God be the Glory," indeed. :) When I get my hands on the photos from today, I will post them up.

In the meantime, here are some pictures from the dance competition in Malaysia, a picture from Encounter Weekend, a lovely picture of my friends and I from Bastien und Bastienne and a picture of me with Glenda Chong after my performance for Spring Singapore.

Feel the passion of the Rhumba.

We shook hands for the first time,
And I never knew I'd fall for you.

But now I dream of you,
When I go to sleep at night.

But I'm just a friend,
To you that's all I am.

Take the chance and you'll see,
How perfect we'd be.

You don't know the one who loves you,
Stands right beside you.
When you're looking for love, remember, I'm standing right here.

I'm meant for you,
And when you take my hand,
Unknowingly, you take my heart too.
And before I can get it back, you walk off with it.

Hold up for a minute,
And tell me when'll you give me your heart in place of mine.

Yes, I wrote a love poem. It must be all the Vandross and Buble I''ve been listening to. Haha.

Last night, I went for the Bryn Terfel concert with Ms Ae Ree, Jon, David, Bren and Marcus. The concert was good, although he made a few mistakes here and there. But he's Bryn Tefel! So, of course, on the whole, the concert went well. His voice, control and phrasing were amazing. And his music interpretation was swoon worthy. He sang with his heart and the audience enjoyed it thoroughly. His accompanist, Michael Pollock was super sensitive to Bryn and they sounded amazing together. Bryn left me breathless everytime he sang in Piano. Oh my goodness... He was really good. :)

After the concert Ms Ae Ree, Jon, David, Mr Chan and I went to Brewerkz and chatted and laughed the night away. We learnt that the music scene in Singapore has some very interesting characters. Haha. Yes, last night was most enjoyable indeed.

I don't really have much to say so I'll be off. I'll update again soon. God bless you all and have a pleasant week.

Yesterday was Ming's birthday at The Butter Factory. She said I could bring some friends so I went with Michael and Emmanuel. The party was fun but there were just too many screaming kids for our liking... So the three of us left early and had our own little private party at this chocolate bar in Clarque Quay.. Haha... These guys are great company man... Loads of crazy things happened... Ask me, and I'll tell you... The content might not be safe for blogging... Haha... Here are some pictures from last night. :)

Looks delicious, yes? ;)
