Monday, February 13, 2006Today was really fun. The day started off with me waking up, getting ready and then leaving the house to meet Ms Shao for lunch at Fish & Co. After lunch, we went to The Esplanade for dessert. We went to Max Brenner's Chocolate bar, and yes, we indulged. We had the famous "Suckao," mine "Dark," and Ms Shao's, "White," and their legendry Fondue. Yes, it was delectable and delightful. Afterwards, we felt guilty, but happy nonetheless. :) It was good.
I met up with Juit Lian afterwards and we hung out at the Esplanade for a while. It was nice to see her again. I met up with Kenny later on and we went for tea break at Bakerz In. I shared lavender tea with Kenny and he ordered Escargo. The waiter that served us was this adorable chap in his teens. Kenny looked at him, then looked at me and said, "He's cute." Then I turned to the waiter and said, "Yes, you are." He was so happy, he couldn't stop blushing and grinning (bashfully) when he said "Thanks." Haha! So adorable. Afterwards, Kenny was like, "Oh my gosh! He must think I'm gay!" Haha... Kenny was so funny 'cos I wouln't stop teasing him and he'd try to counter but fail miserably! Haha... Funny guy... After tea we went to sit on the steps next to The Merlion and talked and watched ships pass by... That was fun, in a very traditional way... :)
I went to Shi's house afterwards and we chatted non-stop as usual... She showed me pictures from her last trip... The photos were hilarious... Especially the ones taken when she ws bored... Haha... Aunty Siew Fang and Shi sent my family back home and now I'm sitting here typing this... I feel really satisfied all of a sudden.... I guess being in the company of the people you love has that effect on you. :)
